Job summary

Bilfinger North America is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction programs, coordinate teams, and deliver projects on time and within budget. You will liaise between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality and efficiency across diverse industrial and commercial projects.

The role emphasizes strong estimating, scheduling, and safety practices, with occasional travel between sites to oversee progress and ensure contract compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial GC
• Proficient in producing detailed fixed price estimates using RS Means or similar tools
• Strong negotiating and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, subs, and vendors simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Project management: develop and manage budgets and schedules; ensure contract requirements are met
• Estimating: prepare estimates from specs, SOW, and drawings; quantity takeoffs
• Subcontractor management: solicit proposals, negotiate, and track buyout of subs
• Scheduling: develop and maintain project schedules with superintendents
• Business development: engage customers to grow framework agreements and solutions
• Safety: ensure compliance with HSEQ guidelines and local requirements
