Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction programs, coordinating budgets, schedules and quality across multiple sites. You will liaise between team members and clients, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and contract adherence.

The role requires 4+ years in construction with a GC, strong estimating and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, and schedules in a fast-paced environment. Based in Austin, travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, subcontractors and vendors.
• Proficient in fixed price estimates using RS Means or similar tools.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to lead teams.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and maintain integrity.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: creates and manages budgets, communicates with team members and clients, ensures contract compliance.
• Estimating: prepares estimates from specs and drawings, performs quantities take-offs, prices non-scheduled items.
• Subcontractor Management: solicits proposals, evaluates cost data, negotiates buyout and coordinates visits.
• Scheduling: develops and maintains project schedules with superintendents for customer use.
• Business Development: discusses needs with customers to identify framework opportunities and growth.
