Job summary

Golden Triangle Construction (GTC) is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial projects in Colorado. This role requires ownership from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relations with a focus on profitability and safety.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, strong leadership abilities, and willingness to relocate to Colorado.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience leading complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong understanding of general contracting operations, cost controls, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Experience mentoring construction project teams.
• Proficiency with construction management software and project reporting tools.
• Ability to work from Frederick, CO office and travel to Colorado jobsites.
• Must relocate to Colorado if currently outside the state.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple commercial construction projects or large, complex assignments from preconstruction through final completion.
• Establish project execution strategies, budgets, schedules, staffing needs, and performance expectations.
• Provide leadership on public-sector and institutional projects, including occupied facilities, phased construction, and complex stakeholder requirements.
• Take primary responsibility for project budgets, profitability, financial forecasting, cost-to-complete reporting, and cash flow.
• Oversee progress billings, subcontractor payments, procurement, and financial reporting.
• Lead contract administration, including prime contracts, subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Identify and mitigate financial, contractual, and operational risks before they impact project performance.
