Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Project Leader to plan, direct, and coordinate a range of industrial construction projects in Virginia. You will manage Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control across large or multiple projects.

The role emphasizes client liaison, objective setting, staffing for each phase, and leading a team through CPM-based schedules with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 7+ years' experience in construction, design, finance, and management.
• PE credentialing not required but a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client to facilitate construction activities.
• Establish project objectives and staffing for each phase of project.
• Direct and coordinate activities to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.
• Lead project team in meetings and provide technical guidance.
