Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support EPC project leaders in overseeing construction from pre-construction through warranty. You will manage safety, quality, schedule, cost, contracts, and field teams across multiple sites.

You will lead planning, risk reviews, and client interactions, coordinating with engineering and procurement to ensure on-time delivery and compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years relevant project management experience in construction.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of projects.
• Manage project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development and critical project objectives.
• Develop client relationships and interface with the client for proposals and project items.
• Lead risk reviews and work with Legal Department as required.
• Negotiate prime contracts, CM contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Oversee project documentation turnover, invoicing, and reporting.
• Mentor interns and junior staff; provide performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and company policies.
• Support government and public entity communications as needed.
