Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Project Manager 2 to lead moderately complex construction projects, overseeing safety, scope, schedule and cost. The role supports preconstruction activities, manages submittals and change orders, and coordinates diverse stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, with 7+ years of construction experience and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately and completely.
• Communication skills, verbal and written (Intermediate/Advanced).
• Ability to conduct effective presentations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced).
• Knowledge of construction management processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and promotes an injury‑free environment.
• Manages the project prestart checklist form and related admin.
• Supports preconstruction with quantity takeoff, scope development and bid activities.
• Leads buyout scheduling, pricing validation, and subcontractor selection.
• Coordinates submittal schedule, shop drawings, and sample approvals.
• Maintains owner/architect change requests and project budgets.
• Executes project schedule developed with the Project Superintendent and Lean inputs.
• Monitors costs, margins, and provides regular status reports.
