Job summary

Alberici is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major construction projects across North America. This role focuses on developing estimates, managing change orders, and ensuring schedules and budgets are met.

You will supervise project teams and coordinate with estimators, clients, and BD during bids. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in construction and 10+ years of PM experience, with travel up to 85% across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree related to the construction industry.
• 10 years of experience in project engineering, construction project management, or related fields.
• Willingness to travel up to 85% of the time across North America.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, update, distribute, and manage estimates.
• Decide how to handle client change orders, including pricing.
• Review construction strategy with estimators and Business Development during bidding and proposal.
• Assist in negotiating work with prospective clients and recommend contract type.
• Ensure the project schedule is developed and maintained.
• Use cost accounting/reporting systems to identify and correct cost overruns.
• Ensure client receivables are paid and discuss collections with the client if needed.
• Monitor construction progress relative to percent of contract billed.
• Review management reports, interact with the Project Manager, and provide coaching for positive financial performance.
• Identify and manage project risks, including safety, insurance, security, and compliance.
• Approve project expense reports and forward them to the Vice President.
• Manage and direct Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and non‑supervisory administrative staff.
