Job summary

Delmarva Power & Light Co. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee centrally managed Transmission and Distribution projects.

You will ensure work meets scope, schedule, and budget while enforcing safety standards and coordinating with multiple teams and customers. In this role, you will lead safety practices, conduct site walkdowns, manage field barriers, and drive effective communication across engineering, procurement, and contract management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4–7 years of Transmission/Distribution construction experience OR high school diploma and 6–9 years' experience.
• Knowledge of Project Management concepts or principles.
• Strong knowledge of the company's safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
• Project Management experience.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proven analytical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, and foster culture change.
• Certifications required within first year include Lockout Tag Out (LOTO) and OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Manage project construction to meet scope, schedule and budget, and ensure work is up to standard.
• Liaise with property owners and customers affected by construction activities and maintain communications.
• Coordinate internal and external construction resources to maximize safety, quality and cost savings.
• Act as primary communicator between Project Management and work groups for schedule and materials management.
