Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced Project Finance Manager to oversee the financial execution of a large-scale construction project, manage cash flow, forecasting, and internal controls, and act as the primary financial contact for the project team.

You will lead month-end close, budgeting, audits, and financial reporting to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with GAAP and contract requirements, while guiding project leaders on risk and action plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in project/ construction finance.
• Deep knowledge of project accounting, billing, receivables, and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret contract language.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide project financial oversight and compliance from preconstruction through closeout for a large and/or complex construction project and provide financial guidance and communication to project stakeholders.
• Manage and conduct billing, receivables, and collections for project for efficient financial operations and to affect improvements in net working capital (NWC) and aligned with financial controls and company reporting standards.
• Lead month-end close for project, including work-in-place (WIP) analysis, cost-to-complete, revenue and earnings recognition, and reporting accuracy.
• Assess and summarize project financial performance indicators and present findings to project leadership; identify risks and mitigation strategies in line with GAAP.
