Turner Construction Company is seeking a experienced Finance professional to manage daily operations within the Financial Center. The role interfaces with profit centers and HQ, ensuring timely close processes, policy compliance, and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 5+ years in construction finance, demonstrates strong analytical skills, and can lead a small team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 5+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience of a small team.
• Strong accounting principles knowledge.
• Analytical ability to review financial data and identify trends.
• Understanding of cash flows and optimizing interest income.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and take corrective action.
• Proficiency with financial systems, MS Excel, and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day activities of specific Financial Center function.
• Audit and post journal entries, cash receipts, and related tasks.
• Review and approve A/R journal entries and vendor payments.
• Oversee staff audits of items for data entry and approvals.
• Assist Treasury with cash management improvements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet entries.
• Provide year-end 1099 reporting and vendor administration.
