Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned Project Finance Manager to lead the financial execution on large, complex construction programs. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, cost control, and reporting to ensure GAAP compliance and alignment with field operations and the client.

The role requires 8+ years of project/construction finance experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/engineering, and strong analytical and leadership abilities.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and company policies.
• Ability to read and interpret contract language.

Responsibilities

• Provide project financial oversight and compliance from preconstruction through closeout for large/complex projects.
• Manage billing, receivables, and collections to improve cash flow and align with controls.
• Confirm contract requirements and billing terms, including rate approvals.
• Collaborate on budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models with project leaders.
• Review budgets for risks and accurate reflection of potential changes.
• Lead audits and support internal reviews; drive cost audit processes.
• Lead month-end close, WIP analysis, and revenue recognition for projects.
• Assess financial performance metrics and present to leadership; communicate risks and mitigation plans.
• Contribute to ORM/PIM discussions and improve financial visibility tools and templates.
• May supervise other finance team members and participate in hiring and training.
