Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage the financial execution of a large construction project in Philadelphia. You will handle day-to-day project accounting, cash flow, forecasting, and internal controls, acting as the primary financial contact for the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required with extensive experience in project/construction finance.
• In depth knowledge of project accounting, billing, receivables, collections, cost control, cashflow management, forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Able to read and interpret contract language and apply GAAP in a construction context.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and influence stakeholders to mitigate financial risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide project financial oversight and compliance from preconstruction through closeout for a large/complex project.
• Manage billing, receivables, and collections to improve working capital and ensure adherence to contracts and company standards.
• Confirm contractual billing requirements and approved rates for staff and trades.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models with project leaders and stakeholders.
• Lead month‑end close, including WIP, cost-to-complete, revenue and earnings recognition.
• Present financial performance indicators to leadership and manage risk mitigation actions.
