Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Construction Project Engineer for our Offsite Manufacturing team in Seattle, WA. You will support the Project Manager by coordinating schedules, resources, and production progress to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

The successful candidate will read engineering drawings, lead diverse teams, and collaborate across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and commercial functions. Prior PMP preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of experience in production, operations, manufacturing, construction, or project coordination preferred.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of ERP programs; SharePoint preferred.
• OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with trades, subcontractors, and vendors to support daily value stream execution.
• Support cross-functional communication between manufacturing operations, supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams.
• Track action items, constraints, and follow-up items to keep production moving forward.
• Monitor schedules, materials, and manpower against cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Support continuous improvement and process innovation within offsite manufacturing.
