Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Construction Project Engineer for our Offsite Manufacturing team in Spokane, WA. You will support the Project Manager by coordinating schedules, materials, and production to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

You will work with manufacturing operations, supply chain, engineering, trades, and vendors to keep work moving forward, lead a diverse team, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 5 years in production, operations, manufacturing, construction, or project coordination.
• PMI/PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP knowledge; SharePoint.
• OSHA-10/OSHA-30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with trades, subcontractors, and vendors to support daily value stream execution.
• Support cross-functional communication between operations, supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams.
• Track action items, constraints, and follow-up items to keep production moving.
• Monitor schedules, materials, manpower, and production progress against cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Support continuous improvement and process innovation within offsite manufacturing operations.
