Job summary

Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI) Denver 583 in Aurora, CO is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead project execution, scheduling, and QA/QC efforts on complex commercial construction programs.

The role requires at least 4 years in construction management, strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with MS Office. Local to Denver area preferred; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in construction management.
• Experience managing drywall, metal stud framing, and ACT scopes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Customer service skills and ability to build relationships.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated self-starter with initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and manage project schedules and coordinate with field supervisors.
• Create and manage punch lists and closeout documentation.
• Support QA/QC measures and program.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
