Job summary

Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI) seeks an experienced Project Engineer for its PCI Denver 583 operations based in Aurora, CO. The role focuses on labor control, takeoffs, schedules, and QA/QC support on commercial and industrial construction projects.

Minimum 2 years’ project experience, strong Excel/Office skills, and ability to read specs and drawings. Bachelor’s degree preferred; OSHA certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years’ experience supporting or managing construction projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Clear ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFI’s and submittals.
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program.
• Assist in other duties as assigned
