Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Denver 583 operations based in Aurora, CO. This role serves as a launching pad for future leaders with hands-on experience in project management and estimating, supporting professional growth within an employee-owned organization.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, punch list management, QA/QC support, RFIs/submittals, labor control, material takeoffs, scheduling support, warranty/O&M coordination,

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taught.
• Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Must have critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Conducting safety meetings.
• Creating and managing punch lists.
• Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI's QA/QC program.
• Preparing RFIs and submittals.
• Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering.
• Supporting the implementation of the job schedule.
• Coordinating warranties and O&M's.
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing.
