Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a seasoned construction project leader to represent and advise public agency clients through preconstruction, construction, commissioning, closeout, and turnover. You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery of complex municipal projects in California.

You will review schedules, change orders, and coordination issues, manage field activities, and maintain clear project documentation.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressively responsible construction management experience, preferably representing public-sector owners.
• Experience managing public facility construction projects from preconstruction to turnover.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage field activities.

Responsibilities

• Represent and advise public agency clients throughout preconstruction, construction, commissioning, closeout, and turnover.
• Participate in design reviews and constructability evaluations to identify conflicts and risks.
• Provide field-level construction management and monitor progress, quality, and contract compliance.
• Administer RFIs, submittals, change orders, contractor correspondence, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
• Review contractor schedules, progress updates, sequencing, and recovery plans for milestones.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, inspectors, and end users to resolve issues.
• Support cost management, change order evaluations, progress payments, and project reporting.
• Coordinate startups, testing, commissioning, and owner training.
