Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead CM services on municipal and public infrastructure projects in Orange County. You will oversee field operations, coordinate with contractors and city staff, and ensure compliance with plans, safety, and environmental standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering/CM or equivalent, 8+ years in CM, and ability to verify references from public agencies. Onsite work at client sites with diverse stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field or 4 additional years of qualifying experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 8 years of construction management experience on municipal/public infrastructure projects, including at least 1 year supervising or inspecting engineering construction work.
• Delivery of CM services on projects within Orange County, supported by verifiable references from Orange County public agencies or municipalities.
• Proven experience managing municipal roadway/street improvement projects and/or public vertical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction administration: RFIs, submittals, pay apps, change orders, schedule reviews, and project documentation; primary contact for contractor and agency staff.
• Lead field oversight and inspection operations; direct inspection staff and ensure daily reports meet client requirements; perform site walks.
• Coordinate construction activities with contractors, utility providers, city staff, and stakeholders; maintain relationships across project participants.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and public agency standards.
• Review plans, specs, and changes for constructability; escalate risks and disputes to CM IV.
