Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks an experienced program manager to oversee full lifecycle construction programs at client sites, including data centers, power grids and infrastructure projects. You’ll lead contract administration, budget control, scheduling, risk management and stakeholder communications across multi-disciplinary teams.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor's in construction management, architecture, or engineering and 10+ years of experience in higher education programs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture and/or engineering required.
• 10+ years of overseeing and managing all phases of higher education institution programs/projects.
• 10+ years of preconstruction, construction and closeout experience required.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, crawl, climb, reach overhead and lift 40 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day contract administration, ensuring compliance with contract terms, policies, and procedures.
• Develop, manage, and track project budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
• Establish and maintain project schedules with milestone deadlines and completion dates.
• Understand construction documentation, bidding, startup/closeout, obligations, submittals, RFIs, changes, and reporting.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and prepare detailed progress reports.
• Develop and implement project management policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Perform ongoing project risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project staff.
• Offer technical direction to design firms, consultants, and contractors.
• Manage project closeout, final reports, and punch lists; ensure final records are delivered.
