Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in California seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) Project Manager from pre-construction through project completion and warranty periods.

You will manage safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, client relations, and field teams on multiple projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and 7 years relevant project management experience.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to meet the company's driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of a single or multiple projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, estimating, cost development, and establish critical project objectives.
• Negotiate contracts, change orders, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide mentorship and training to project team members.
