Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in the United States is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support EPC Project Managers through pre-construction to warranty periods. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, and client relations across multiple projects.

You will lead planning, risk reviews, RFP/bid processes, and staffing plans, ensuring compliant documentation, robust reporting, and effective coordination with engineering and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field and 7 years relevant project management experience in the construction industry required.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and the successful execution of one or more projects.
• Develop project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and change orders with subcontractors and client contractors.
