Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects with budgets up to $15 million. You will oversee safety, schedules, budgets, and coordination with trade contractors in collaboration with the superintendent.

AP emphasizes mentorship, career growth, and a zero-punch-list close-out approach, with a strong focus on safety and high-quality execution across diverse markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field plus 6+ years leading construction projects.
• Proficiency with scheduling, cost control, and project management software.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it; willing to travel; experience with varied contract types.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure timely, quality results on projects.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and ASIs for coordination and requirements.
• Prepare and update the construction schedule with the superintendent.
• Lead project estimate reviews, startup, interim, and close-out meetings.
• Manage trade contracts, change issues, and submittal processes.
• Monitor material procurement, fabrication status, and delivery status.
• Support early close-out and final owner acceptance.
• Ensure quality per AP’s quality management programs.
• Facilitate weekly site progress meetings with owner and design team.
