Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Project Manager to lead on-site efforts from concept through closeout on nationally distributed projects, typically ranging from $20 million to over $200 million. You will coordinate logistics, manage subcontractors, and ensure cost control and adherence to safety standards.

Strong candidates have 6–10 years of experience in construction project management, a solid safety record, and proficiency in budgeting, cost reporting, and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience managing construction projects (≥$25M).
• Strong safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience with setup, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from conceptual stages through closeout.
• Coordinate with project team on site logistics and cost control.
• Oversee subcontractors and manage change orders and submittals.
• Maintain understanding of contract terms and safety programs.
• Monitor labor, equipment needs, and project schedule.
• Participate in bidding and preconstruction activities.
