Job summary

Clayco seeks a Project Manager to lead construction projects from concept through closeout. The role requires coordinating with a project team, managing subcontractors, and ensuring safe, on-time delivery for projects ranging from $20M to over $200M.

Candidate should have a bachelor's in a related field and 6–10 years of experience, with a proven safety record and strong cost reporting capabilities. Travel nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
• 6-10 years of experience managing construction projects (≥$25M).
• Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience with budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
• Ability to lead a successful project management team.
• Creative and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Develop project cost reports and job cost tracking.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent on site logistics.
• Assist in managing subcontractors and submittals.
• Maintain understanding of contract terms with owner and client.
• Oversee submittals, change orders, and pay requests.
• Assist in bidding and preconstruction services.
• Contribute to project safety, quality, and schedule processes.
