Job summary

Pulice in Austin, TX is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead technically complex construction projects from start to finish. You will manage the budget, schedule, staffing, and contracts to ensure timely delivery and quality.

You will coordinate with owners, engineers, and field teams, review contracts, approve changes, monitor safety, and guide closeout. The role requires strong leadership, risk management, and the ability to align project work with owner expectations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in construction project management.
• 10+ years of experience in managing personnel.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (a plus).
• Proven experience in bid-build, CMCG, design build and other delivery models.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage risk and multiple departments.
• Negotiation and contract familiarity.
• Branding and sales knowledge to promote the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the project from initiation to closeout, including budget and cash management per contract and owner requirements.
• Develop and manage the project schedule, pay estimates, staffing, and equipment resources for timely completion.
• Review contracts and collaborate with the owner to resolve specification, conflicts, and scheduling issues.
• Lead engineering and scheduling teams to identify and negotiate change orders with support from Area Manager.
• Prepare and present monthly cost and revenue forecasts to leadership.
• Maintain relationships with supporting departments and the owner to support the work plan and payment schedule.
• Serve as main contact for third-party stakeholders including landowners and government agencies.
• Review and approve internal and external media releases related to the project.
• Ensure project safety through weekly checks and safety programs.
• Approve staffing and equipment needs for efficiency.
• Participate in dispute resolution with internal legal counsel.
• Provide input on procurement methods and contracts for efficient production.
• Lead project closeout, finalize paperwork and retainages, and conduct debriefs.
