Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Construction Operations Manager for complex EPC projects in power generation, including conventional, simple cycle, and combined cycle environments. You will lead resources, execution strategies, and performance across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety, with travel as required.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and collaboration with clients, alliance partners, and project teams to deliver high-value projects and drive organizational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of construction operations experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead craft resourcing strategies, including workforce preparation, execution planning, staffing levels, and role alignment.
• Drive workforce planning efforts in alignment with the construction baseline schedule.
• Oversee construction readiness and gate reviews prior to mobilization and major project activities.
• Deliver construction project execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
• Promote compliance with safety, health, quality, and project specifications while providing construction support to Project Managers.
