Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Construction Operations Manager to lead high‑impact EPC and service projects across simple/combined cycle power facilities. You will ensure optimal resources, tooling, and execution strategies, while shaping construction outcomes and guiding project teams.

Travel to sites is required as part of this role. The position demands a strong background in construction operations, project leadership, and a proven track record on large-scale power projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10–20 years of construction operations experience.
• Onboarding checks such as background, drug screen, and driving record may apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead craft resourcing strategies and staffing alignment across projects.
• Drive workforce planning in line with baseline schedules.
• Oversee readiness and gate reviews before mobilization and major activities.
• Deliver construction execution across scope, schedule, cost, quality and safety.
• Develop and review construction execution plans and risk assessments.
• Build relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
