Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician in New Jersey. You will join a team dedicated to quality and safety, performing field testing and inspections on diverse construction projects while coordinating with engineers and project managers.

The role requires certifications in ACI/ICC, 5+ years of CMT experience, and a valid driver’s license. Expect travel, field work, and adherence to safety, QC plans, and reporting protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction materials testing (CMT) experience.
• Current certifications in ACI and ICC, plus Troxler Gauge Safety and Operation.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing as directed by CMT Manager and supervisors.
• Communicate field observations and test results to Project Manager/Engineer.
• Transport testing equipment, specimens, and documentation between sites.
• Enter daily field observation reports and project summaries in electronic systems.
• Conduct field density testing on soil, asphalt, and other materials.
• Assist engineers and technicians on project tasks and departmental needs.
• Follow Atlas safety policies and QC SOPs; read and apply project plans.
