Job summary

Atlas is seeking a CMT Field Technician to perform field observations and materials sampling/testing during construction of buildings, bridges, and roadways at client sites. You will document contractor compliance in daily reports, cast field samples for strength verification, and transport samples to the laboratory, while adhering to Atlas safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform field observations and sampling during construction of buildings, bridges, and roadways.
• Test construction materials including soils, concrete, masonry, and steel.
• Write daily field reports documenting contractor compliance and progress.
• Cast field samples for strength verification.
• Coordinate sample transport to the laboratory and communicate updates to management.
