Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Field Technician to join the Mechanicsburg team. The role involves performing observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement on construction sites under supervision.

Applicants should have 2+ years of related experience, a High School diploma or GED, and be willing to obtain or maintain multiple advanced certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must maintain current basic level certifications and 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift 40–70 lbs multiple times daily and up to 85 lbs occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
• Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and draft field reports documenting site observations.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings precisely.
