Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Senior Field Technician to join our York team and advance in a dynamic construction materials environment. You will perform field observations, testing, sampling, and inspections on soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel, under supervision from senior staff and project managers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and current certifications with room for two additional advanced

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have and be willing to maintain current basic level certifications and an additional 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
• Must provide suitable transportation for use on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
• Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel.
• Perform calculations and data reduction; develop field reports documenting site observations.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Receive training and document findings with precision according to engineering practices.
