Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Manager II in San Antonio, TX. You will lead subcontractor coordination, scheduling, budgeting and quality control in a dynamic, employee-owned environment.

The role focuses on coordinating procurement, document management and change orders while maintaining safety and project controls. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of construction management experience, with proficiency in Procore, Prolog, Primavera and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction planning and management, including contracts, scheduling, cost, and safety.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Procore, Prolog, Primavera, and Bluebeam.
• Strong people skills and ability to interact with Owner, Engineer, Contractor and stakeholders.
• HDR employee-owned culture; sponsorship not available for US employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and manage schedules and quality.
• Prepare the Project Management Plan of Construction Management Plan.
• Develop procedures for contract administration and implement with project team.
• Perform CM activities including procurement, scheduling, change orders, cost and quality reviews.
• Administer and manage construction activities and monitor design progress.
• Perform value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate bidding efforts and procure subcontracts and materials.
• Coordinate document management and submittal reviews.
• Prepare and negotiate Change Orders and review schedules and budgets.
• Ensure Health and Safety Program compliance and report progress.
