Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Manager II to lead field operations for major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure safety and quality throughout construction.

You will develop construction plans, manage change orders, review submittals, and collaborate with owners, engineers and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget. PE preferred and 10+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction planning and management, including contracts, time, cost, quality, change management, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for subcontractor coordination, scheduling and quality control.
• Prepare the Project Management Plan and Construction Management Plan.
• Develop procedures for construction contract administration and quality/safety management.
• Perform procurement activities including schedules, scopes, and subcontract terms.
• Review and coordinate submittals, shop drawings, and pay applications.
• Prepare and negotiate Change Orders and monitor schedule and budget.
• Coordinate local bidding efforts and oversee project setup and temporary facilities.
• Ensure Health and Safety Program compliance through inspections and communication.
