Job summary

HDR is hiring a Senior Construction Manager to lead civil infrastructure projects in a dynamic, employee-owned environment. You will coordinate subcontractors, develop management plans, and drive cost, time, and quality control across multiple sites.

The role requires 10+ years in construction planning/management, PE preferred, and proficiency with Procore, Primavera, Bluebeam and related tools. On-site leadership is essential in a Full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction planning and management including contracts, change, cost, quality, and safety management.
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
• Strong people skills with stakeholders including Owner, Engineer, Contractor.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, and quality control.
• Prepare PM Plan or Construction Management Plan.
• Develop procedures for contract administration and change management.
• Perform procurement and estimation activities, review submittals and shop drawings.
• Manage construction activities and project budgets and schedules.
• Ensure health and safety program compliance on site.
• Lead value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate local bidding and issue change orders.
• Prepare and update progress reports and pay requests.
• Oversee coordination with field teams on large civil infrastructure projects.
