Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Manager II to lead subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control across projects in a dynamic, employee-owned environment. The role requires developing management plans, implementing quality and safety programs, and coordinating with owners, engineers, and contractors.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of construction management experience, proficiency with Procore/Prolog/Primavera/Bluebeam, and strong communication skills to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in various aspects of construction planning and management, including contracts, document/time/cost/quality management, change management, and site safety.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
• Must have strong people skills and ability to interact with Owner, Engineer, Contractor and stakeholders.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
• Sponsorship (visa) for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for subcontractor coordination, scheduling and quality control.
• Prepare the Project Management Plan, Construction Management Plan, Quality Control Plans as required.
• Develop procedures for executing construction contract administration and coordinate with the project team.
• Perform value engineering reviews, constructability reviews, estimating and schedule reviews.
