Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Services Group (QISG) is seeking a Construction Manager to provide on-site oversight, coordination, and technical leadership for all facets of project construction. The role interfaces daily with discipline supervisors and the site safety advisor to ensure work aligns with specifications, schedules and budgets.

You will supervise construction activities, review subcontractor work, and drive safety, quality and environmental compliance across the project lifecycle, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred.
• Extensive construction experience in EPC projects in the electric power delivery sector preferred.
• 20–25 years of substations or related facility construction experience with a track record on large, complex projects.
• Strong technical background in high voltage electrical facilities and subsystems.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, safety, cost control and scheduling.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction activities with discipline supervisors and the site safety advisor to meet schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with project manager to ensure efficient crews, budgets, forecasts and schedules.
• Integrate safety into project plans and reinforce safety policies and trainings.
• Review subcontractor work packages and assist with scope development and problem solving.
• Conduct daily site coordination meetings and ensure regulatory and environmental compliance.
• Support start-up teams during commissioning and testing of the facility.
