Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors in Decatur, AL, seeks an experienced Construction Manager to deliver industrial projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead teams, coordinate contractors, and manage client relationships on moderately complex projects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of construction management, a BS/MS in Construction Science or related field, a General Contractors License is preferred, and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction management or project experience.
• General Contractors License is highly preferred.
• Bachelor or Master in Construction Science or related field is highly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction activities with safety first across projects.
• Coordinate contractor work to meet scope, design criteria and schedule.
• Promote and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project.
• Review vendor drawings, submittals, and engineering documents for conformance.
• Monitor project controls related to cost, schedule and quality.
• Provide on-site assistance during startup and startup readiness.
• Communicate design changes promptly and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate resources and ensure proper staffing for the work.
