Job summary

Carr Properties, headquartered in Washington, DC, is seeking a Construction Manager to plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise multiple capital improvement projects across the District and neighboring states. This role requires strong leadership, budget control, and collaboration with internal departments and external teams.

You will select design teams, manage the design process, oversee purchasing, negotiate contracts, and monitor progress to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of four years of experience in a similar position with a real estate developer or a general contractor.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise multiple projects.
• Select project design team and manage the design process.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor progress; coordinate meetings and payments.
• Define project team structure and ensure timely completion and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Serve as primary liaison with in-house departments during construction.
