Job summary

The HR Source is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Washington, DC-area construction projects. You will oversee 4–5 projects daily, manage field staff, and coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and clients to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include cost tracking, schedule coordination, contract administration, and ensuring compliance with permitting and building codes. A minimum of 5 years in PM and proficiency with Procore are preferred; a relevant degree is

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience (commercial and/or residential construction).
• Design-build experience with exposure to varied areas within construction.
• Strong experience with construction project management software; Procore is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple aspects of construction projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, communication, and follow-up.
• Strong client management and problem-solving skills with an innovative approach.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction permitting and building code requirements.
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of 4–5 construction projects and coordinate site personnel.
• Track labor and material costs for work performed by in-house personnel and monitor budgets.
• Manage project contracts, change orders, monthly billing, RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals.
• Schedule materials and coordinate equipment deliveries to keep trades on schedule.
• Maintain regular contact with clients, architects, property managers, and regulatory authorities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
