Job summary

Centex Construction Company in Washington DC is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee restoration and construction projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality. You will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders, enforce safety rules, and provide on-site leadership to keep projects productive and aligned with client expectations.

The role requires DC municipal experience, managing projects of $750K+, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Six years of construction project management experience preferred.
• Experience navigating DC municipal processes (DOB, permits, inspections).
• Experience managing occupied multifamily or commercial renovation projects a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of restoration and construction projects to meet plans, schedule, and budget.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and ensure materials/equipment are available.
• Maintain readiness to respond to job sites across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
• Coordinate work between subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Lead and supervise on-site personnel to uphold quality and productivity.
