Job summary

Luster National seeks Construction Managers to support large heavy civil infrastructure programs, including highways, bridges, transit, and water facilities across California. You will oversee a package or group of contracts from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and contract requirements.

Role requires 10+ years in construction management on major projects, with experience administering contracts and evaluating change proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, construction engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of construction management experience on large (> $500M), complex heavy-civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience administering construction contracts (submittals, RFIs, change orders, payments) on publicly funded work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor performance from preconstruction through closeout and ensure work complies with plans, specs, and contract requirements.
• Administer contracts, including submittals, RFIs, notices, and correspondence, maintaining complete records for audits and claims.
• Evaluate change proposals and contractor pricing for entitlement, cost impact, and schedule impact and recommend a program position.
