Job summary

Luster National in Sacramento, CA seeks Project Managers of varying levels to support large heavy civil infrastructure programs—highways, bridges, transit, airports, and water projects. You will own scope, budget, schedule, and risk on projects that can exceed $100M in construction value.

We hire to build delivery teams, coordinate with designers and contractors, and report progress to leadership. This role requires experience across design through closeout, strong communication, and CM software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of project management experience on large, heavy-civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing scope, budget, schedule, and risk from design through construction and closeout.
• Working knowledge of construction contract administration, including submittals, RFI, change management, and progress payments.
• Experience coordinating designers, contractors, agencies, and third parties across the life of a project.
• Experience with industry standard PM software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Unifier, Kahua).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365.

Responsibilities

• May lead delivery of assigned projects or task orders from planning and design through construction and closeout.
• Oversee scope, budget, schedule, and risk, and provide early, honest read to leadership.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors, and third parties and elevate deviations.
• Administer construction contracts, including submittals, RFI, payments, and time extensions.
• Evaluate change proposals for entitlement, cost impact, and schedule impact.
• Coordinate with program controls to develop cost forecasts, CPM updates, and earned value reporting.
• Oversee commissioning, operations readiness, and transition to maintenance.
