Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in California to lead large multi-discipline projects. You will direct teams, manage budgets, and coordinate client relations from initiation to close-out. Strong PM experience and a commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related professional experience.
• 10 years related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out).
• Responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with other staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle and ensure on-schedule deliverables.
• Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to meet budget and schedule.
• Work with leadership for periodic project reviews and QA/QC procedures.
• Supervise large project staffs and mentor less-experienced Project Managers.
