We are seeking an experienced SENIOR AVIATION CONSTRUCTION MANAGER for a full-time position based in our Denver, Colorado office.

Ideal candidates will have 7 to 10 years' experience managing airport facilities, including new construction and renovation projects. Experience with large, complex projects, building automation systems, and coordination with QA/QC teams is required. Candidates must pass background screening for Airport Operations Area (AOA) badging and be capable of obtaining AOA vehicle movement certification.

Overall Responsibilities

1. Coordinate all project construction activities daily
2. Manage contractors and liaise with owners and stakeholders
3. Conduct construction observations and inspections for compliance
4. Lead progress meetings and pre-work conferences
5. Review QA/QC testing and submittals
6. Handle RFIs, change proposals, and payment recommendations
7. Monitor construction schedule
8. Log and process Engineer's instructions
9. Prepare monthly progress reports
10. Assist with project closeout activities, including final reports and as-built drawings

Additional Responsibilities

1. Work with QA teams
2. Document material quantities and maintain project records
3. Coordinate testing schedules and review reports
4. Ensure non-conforming work is addressed and documented

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
2. Certified Construction Manager (preferred)
3. 7-10 years' experience in aviation projects
4. Experience with large-scale projects exceeding $200M
5. Ability to pass AOA background checks and obtain vehicle movement certification
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills
7. Proactive problem-solving abilities

Work Environment

Exposure to machinery, dust, fumes, noise, and outdoor conditions. Ability to work on uneven ground and at heights is required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, and working in extreme temperatures or heights.

Other Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Travel within 100 miles of the office; potential for out-of-town assignments
• Willingness to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and overtime
• Successful background check required
