Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Premier, Inc. seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide hands-on support for systems, data center operations, production support, and escalation teams.
2. Offer 24-hour on-call support for problem analysis and resolution on a rotational basis.
3. Respond to inquiries via phone or email, resolve issues, and communicate solutions effectively.
4. Review, implement, and test availability strategies to ensure business and service uptime requirements are met.
5. Establish standards, document infrastructure change procedures, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
6. Develop and maintain as-built documentation, network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
7. Collaborate with Development Teams in an agile environment, participating in stand-ups, meetings, and sprint tasks.
8. Lead technical deployment for new system initiatives from business requirements to deployment.
9. Attend vendor conferences and presentations to observe system demonstrations.
10. Maintain and update IT disaster recovery plans, perform recovery testing, and ensure procedures are current.

Remote work (telecommuting) is permitted.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in related roles, including:
• Provisioning access to storage containing PHI compliant with HIPAA standards.
• Managing patching for RedHat Linux devices using Satellite.
• Developing and maintaining architecture diagrams of storage infrastructure.
• Building and deploying storage hardware and infrastructure.
• Implementing firmware and patch updates, managing vulnerabilities.

Must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S. and be available for 40 hours/week.
