Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Director of Construction in Los Angeles to lead large, complex commercial projects. You will set safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards while mentoring field teams and coordinating with executives and clients.

The role requires a strong track record in managing high‑value projects, delivering on time, within budget, and to client specifications. Travel to multiple job sites and offices is expected as part of overseeing project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing large, complex commercial construction projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., high‑rise, healthcare, education, industrial).
• Proven track record of facilitating progressive organisational change within a growing organisation.
• Excellent judgment and creative problem‑solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VPs to implement strategic goals.
• Oversee safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Mentor field teams and site managers.
• Ensure projects meet client expectations and deadlines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers.
• Drive operational efficiency through standardized processes.
• Lead risk mitigation and quality assurance activities.
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
