Job summary

Walmart seeks a Senior Manager, Construction-DS to lead the execution and delivery of complex construction projects across existing stores. You will direct contractors and design partners to ensure Walmart standards, regulatory compliance, and project governance from pre-construction through closeout.

You will drive risk management, coordinate cross-functional teams, and report status and budgets to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field with 3 years' experience in construction management/related area.
• OR 5 years' experience in construction management, construction administration, engineering, architecture, or a related area.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction project execution to ensure completion on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Direct contractors, architects, and engineers to maintain compliance with plans, specifications, and Walmart standards.
• Review and approve construction documents, submittals, and change orders to align with design and regulatory requirements.
• Manage risk identification, mitigation, and resolution to maintain project momentum.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and provide timely project status, issue logs, and budget reports to stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and constructability.
• Oversee contractor performance, compliance, and quality control throughout project lifecycle.
