Job summary

Consor seeks a senior construction inspector to monitor on-site activities, inspect materials for compliance with plans and specs, and coordinate with project staff. The role involves field measurements, reporting, and mentoring other inspectors to ensure project success.

You will collaborate with the superintendent and agency personnel, support documentation for final estimates, and contribute to safety and quality on diverse construction sites.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Obtain any required certifications within the specified time frames.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Outdoor field work in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify work to ensure compliance with project plans, schedule, and contract documents.
• Perform complex calculations and field measurements of completed work to date.
• Maintain inspector's daily report of activities, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches.
• Coordinate field efforts with administrative staff and schedule meetings as needed.
• Lead field staff meetings and allocate resources to support current project conditions.
