Consor is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to oversee on-site construction activities, ensure compliance with plans and specifications, and support documentation for final estimates. The role includes mentoring inspection staff and coordinating with project administrators.

The position requires 4+ years of construction inspection experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform precise measurements and testing. Pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Must obtain required certifications and pass tests within specified time frames.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, document, and verify work to ensure compliance with schedule and plans.
• Perform complex mathematical calculations and measurements of completed work.
• Maintain daily inspector reports on activities, labor, equipment, and material quantities.
• Conduct on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches.
• Coordinate between field efforts and administrative staff to align reporting with project activities.
• Lead field staff meetings and provide project updates.
• Delegate inspector responsibilities and allocate resources as needed.
